Animals are all around us! What are they saying? People all across the world have a different impression of what each animals are saying.

What do these animals sound like?

A cow goes…..

“Moo Moo”

A pig goes…..

“Oink, Oink”

A cat goes…..

“Meow, Meow”

A frog goes…..

“Ribbit, Ribbit”

A sheep goes…..

“Baa, Baa”

A dog goes….

“Bow-wow!”

First, we mix gelatin together with boiling water.

Allowing it to cool aside, the gelatin and water mixture hardens.

We add a special surprise inside! What animal do you have?

I have a rhino!

We let the kids be creative with the gelatin block!

We will welcome this season by recognizing the things, big or small, we see around us.

What do you see?

It’s a big tree.

How many butterflies do you see?

There are two butterflies.

What colors do you see on this bee?

I see yellow and black!

Can we smell these flowers?

Let’s keep our eyes open for the different sights and smells of spring!

“It’s a _________”

In the classroom, we focus a lot on this phrase to teach the kids new vocabularies.

There are many situations this phrase may be used, and is great for everyday practice!
For example, point to the following picture and ask,

Today it’s sunny.

Today it’s cloudy.

Today it’s rainy.

We generally try to encourage the answer “I like _______!“, or “This one!” while they point to the corresponding color.
Kids のみんなは上手に　”I like red!”　や　”This one! (これ！)”と言ってカードを指差します。

We also teach our students to learn colors in relation to specific objects. Look at the following pictures below. Can you guess what color they are？
次は、いろいろな物が描かれている白黒のカードをみて何色かを答えます！

It’s a red strawberry!

It’s an orange pumpkin!

It’s a green frog!

2008 School Calendar

First, we melted grated chocolate in a bowl of hot water.

We then all took turns to mix the chocolate and added ingredients such as corn flakes and marshmallows.

Finally we poured the melted chocolate into small paper cups, added sprinkles, then put them into the fridge to cool down and harden. They were delicious!

The Preschool kids loved playing with the snow on the balcony of the school. Because it was too cold to hold in our hands, we used cups and spoons to gather the snow to make huts for toy animals. Brrrrr!!!
